The first edition appeared in salmon pink. The present cover that is easily recognized first appeared in the 75th edition in the year 1938. His name was Michael Vaughan.
In the year 1944, the Wisden factory was devastated by a german bomb. All the records were destroyed. It did not suffer as far as the production aspect is concerned.
